Who to talk to?

Perfect Execution

Between planning the entire show and collecting art work there are plenty of people that need to be contacted first. Starting with my mentor, Ms. Delong, then the principal we move on to the people that I am collecting art work from. Also the person that is in charge of the place the show will be in will have to arrange a time to speak about the execution of the show. Before anything is physically done, there are plenty of people that I need to talk to.

Finances

A Real Success (sometimes)

There is a lot to go into putting a show and finances is definitely a huge part. With the first show, I had the help of Melissa Hawks and Natalie Kurek. The girls prepared the food in the Little Bear Cafe. With the financial help of principal Roberts we were able to afford the food. There was a bake sale and well as selling snacks in Ms. Delong's closet between shows. Also with the help from Ms. Delong and printing the photos for my second show we were able to put the show together.

Setting up location

Exceptional Achievement

This has definitely been a challenge. Thanks to Ms. Dolan the first show took place in the Little Bear Cafe while the library was under construction. The second show was also in the Little Bear Cafe. Finally most of the shelves were removed in the library and I was able to put up art work form the printmaking class and do a small show after school. With so many things going on at once setting the location was challenging but with the help from the NHS staff I was able to make anything work.
